Over the weekend, Alison Morrow had a video struck, appealed, and denied the appeal by YouTube resulting in her being locked out of her account for a week. The video in question was about YouTube striking down smaller creators over their "C-19 Medical Misinformation" Policy, but not Corporate Media.
By Sunday afternoon the strike on her channel was removed quietly and the video reinstated. As a result Alison, like many other creators, are looking into other platforms, as am I. My plan is to continue to upload here on YouTube, but have the content in other places. Eventually I plan on starting a website for all of my projects so you can have access to them, or at least a consolidated list of links, in one easy place. I have a blog site that I am running and I am thinking of putting up some posts here directly. The question I have is should I? I have no following here, and it is my fault for not posting here. However, I do not have much a following anywhere so do I need to have a Locals Page?
To that end I say yes I do need a Locals page, and yes I should post here. The caveat being I will not for the time being post behind a paywall because I need to build a following. Over the next few weeks, I will post one blog post at a time from my blog site over here to Locals. I will post them here in their posted order, unless I feel that it is needed over here out of order first.
